What is collective intelligence?

The famous philosopher of the cyberspace Pierre Lévy, besides the
key-conference in the opening of CRICS V, where he will talk about ciberdemocracy, generously agreed in giving a special lecture with the title "What is collective intelligence?" where he will explain all the concepts involved to understand this new organization of the knowledge and of the society.

This lecture will be held on April 25th, from 17:00h -19:00h in the plenary room 4 at the Palacio de las Convenciones. Previous registrations for the address registration@bireme.br

Discussing the digital divide

Professor David H. Gustafson from the Industrial Engineering and Preventive Medicine Departments of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, will be discussing one point of high relevance to CRICS V on what can be done to close the digital divide among the underserved. His speech "The promise and pitfals of Internet Health: can we and should we close the digital divide? " will certainly bring interesting questions in the discussion of the knowledge management mediated by the Internet. Do not miss it !
